It is assumed that all members will play the games that have been booked for the coming season. If a member is unable to participate in a particular game, the society must be informed at least 3 days in advance.
If not a £20 fee will be payable by that member prior to playing next match.(Unless exceptional circumstances prevail).

League table to be Stableford rules. If a member can’t make a match they will get an average of all scores which could fluctuate and a 3 point deduction.
At least 4 matches have to be played to win the league

Handicaps will move up 0.3 if score is less than 28 at Stableford.
Winners of individual competitions will get 1 full shot knocked off handicap.

Captains day is an extra game which is not part of the league.
The winner of this event will have their name added to the Trophy which is on permanent display in Potters Bar.

In the event of a draw for a game, a count up on the back Nine will take place to decide the result.
If still level on the back nine the back 6 will take effect, then back 3, if still drawing last hole.
This takes place for 1st 2nd and 3rd places.

The Cider cup is another extra game for society members and this is a team event playing another society in Hindley.
Teams are decided by the organisers in advance.

Prizes as follows, individual matches 1st place £40 plus trophy, 2nd place £25, 3rd place £15 nearest pins £10.
Longest drive wins pot collected on the day. League winners 1st place £100 plus trophy to keep and name on main trophy- 2nd place £50 plus trophy- 3rd £25 plus trophy.
If a tie for any place rule 5 will apply.

Golf rules to be played fair, in case of lost ball stroke and distance may be played.
Players must decide where ball was lost and a 2 stroke penalty will incur.
This rule applies for every shot not just from tee.
